  • Bioremediation of industrial wastewaters by using native species plants obtained from natural wetlands.

  • Development of sustainable plastic materials made from biodegradable natural polymers ("bio-plastics").

  • Experimental and theoretical characterization of biopolymers and polymers of technological interest.

  • Formulation of antimicrobial edible films with optimal physicochemical properties for food industry applications.

  • Elaboration of cookies fortified with calcium and soy protein as a strategy to control the nutritional status and dietary intakes of children.

  Professional experience in planning and coordination of projects working in international networks.
